Mark Rushton and Martin Cox have over 35 years’ collective experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, start-up and direct business ownership and operations.     Mark has enjoyed a 15-year career in investment banking and entrepreneurship. Previously at Macquarie Bank, Mark continued his career in several boutique M&A advisory firms, where he has lead dozens of buy-side and sell-side transactions. Following this Mark has gone on to establish a Web3.0 IT infrastructure and consumer brand business prior to cofounding Awa Partners.

    Martin's career spans a diverse range of operating environments, from consulting at McKinsey, through SME and corporate operating and governance roles, and 15 years as a private-equity investor. Martin was previously Head of Private Markets at Milford Asset Management, overseeing the private equity programme of the $20b FUM fund manager, and spent 10 years with Morrison, a global infrastructure, real assets and PE investor. Martin holds an MBA from INSEAD and MCom (hons) from the University of Auckland
